Showplace cabinets use all-wood construction
for structural rigidity, and lasting durability. Backs are a sturdy one-eighth inch thick. End panels
are three-eighths inch thick, with half-inch and five-eighths inch upgrade options. There are also decorative integrated end panel options. Face frames are three-quarter inch thick select hardwood, dadoed to receive tops, bottoms and end panels. Shelves are a hefty three-quarter inch thick and adjustable.
Interiors have a light-maple-printed, urethane-coated surface for easy cleanup. Wood veneer interiors are also offered
The hardworking Showplace drawer has a four-sided three-quarter-inch hardwood box that is dovetailed for superior strength. The quarter-inch drawer bottom is captive on all four sides. The standard drawer glide is a ball-bearing full-extension undermount unit, out of sight and away from dirt and grime. A full-extension soft-close glide is offered as an upgrade option. Both are rated for 75-pound dynamic loads, and 100-pound static loads.
Hinges are six-way adjustable with an available soft-close feature. Like every other component of Showplace cabinetry, drawer glides and hinges are protected by a limited lifetime warranty
